My Father Retired, but isn't done yet!!!

My Pops, my best friend, retired on March 28, 2008 after 38 years with the NYSE, but his professional career isn't over yet!!!
He is a driven man who has exhausted himself trying to do what was best for the family. Nobody has had a greater positive impact on life than my father and mother and I can't thank them enough for always being by my side. As you can see by my shirt he raised me right! LETS GO METS!!!

An explosion underground forced police to evacuate part of Main St. in Fort Lee and so a couple of cigar store owners called a couple buddies and played dominoes until they could go back to their store.

They had dominoes, cigars and golden hour light... I was jealous and wanted to play!!!

My father has a domino table that is much older than me and was handed down from my grandfather... it's a great table with a lot of history...

Essence Carson

Former Rutgers' star and New York Liberty's 2008 1st Round Draft pick Essence Carson at Media Day... Despite the few inches she has on me I think I can take her one-on-one!

Leonia Golf

Not the rowdiest group of guys, but a good group of guys that get the job done with a unbeaten record so far of 11-0...

Marc Ortiz

Clifton's Marc Ortiz pitched a complete game giving up 1 run on 3 hits to improve his record to 2-1... not a bad outing.

.....waiting.....

Had some time to kill during another court assignment... had time on the subway... a handful of minutes between assignments... was put on hold for several minutes... sat in traffic... post office... a couple more minutes here and there... waiting for this for that... just waiting... might as well relax... draw... let the mind drift aimlessly for a few minutes or just one brief moment... the rest of the day is too busy to go nuts while waiting...

A warm day after a cold few!

There were no leaves on the trees... no flowers yet blossoming (at least I don't think there were), but it was a warm day and Rebecca had time before class and enjoyed what the sun had to offer... Lucky Lady!

Court...

I was sent to court to photograph someone and after a few hours passed the reporter for the paper and I were told the person's hearing was going to be postponed... Well the down time did give me a chance to do some drawing...

But at first it was just Holly (court reporter), me and the empty courtroom... Holly loves her organic food and walks briskly for 20 minutes around the courtroom every morning and again during lunch... Can't argue with her devotion to a healthy lifestyle.

Passaic Fire

A fire destroyed 4 homes and took the lives of  an 18 year old girl and her 16 year old brother in Passaic, NJ on Saturday April 5. Jennifer, right, lost her best friend to the fire...
My heart goes out to Jennifer and all of those who were affected by the loss of the two young lives and the fire.  Jennifer said, "She (her best friend) was a sweetheart, anything anyone could have asked for in a friend... So young it wasn't her time to die." Jennifer and other friends of the deceased spoke very highly of their friend... they spoke about the little moments, the big moments, the tough times and the funny times... They smiled, laughed and cried... They reminisced, were shocked in the present and wondered about the future... They miss their friend... They will always have their comforting memories... They are a good-hearted group...

Enrique, right, lost his home and most of his belongings to the fire. Enrique is a friendly and sincere man and I wish all the best to him, his wife and 2 children.

Enrique spent the entire day, Sunday April 6, trying to salvage all that he could.

SAFE.... OUT... ?...

Just a few horizontal shots of 3 people I had the pleasure of photographing yesterday

It was an absolute blast to spend time with and photograph Wendy. I had a lot of fun... She is amazing and did a great job with the food setup!

George has got that grandfather look and it is fitting because he is a grandfather. We have a lot in common and I enjoyed our conversations.

Todd is selling the generator behind him and I was thinking about purchasing it, but I looked at the measurements and It just won't fit well in my room. Todd is a fun easy-going guy to photograph.
